Check an address or a name against the sanctions lists

The same engine behind the API, with the default policy. Paste one wallet address (any chain) or one name. The result shows the outcome, the reasons in plain English and the evidence behind each one, plus the exact list versions it was checked against.

What this check does, and does not do

It looks the address up in the crypto addresses published on the OFAC SDN and Consolidated lists, the UK OFSI list, the EU and UN lists, and in public chain labels for mixers, hacks, scams, darknet markets and ransomware. A name is matched against every listed name and alias with a fuzzy score; a name match alone is shown for review and never as a block, because many people share a name and this form takes no date of birth or nationality to tell them apart.

It does not trace where funds came from (counterparty exposure is an API feature), it does not know who controls an address, and it is not a KYC check. An allow result means nothing was found on the lists at the versions shown; it does not mean the address is safe.

This page is informational. It is not a compliance decision and not legal advice. For decisions you need to stand behind, use the API: you get your own policy, an allowlist, a review queue, exposure, and an immutable record of every decision with the list versions used.

Limits: 20 checks a minute and 200 a day per IP address. Results are not stored and the query is not logged. Country checks with IP geolocation are available through the API: IP Geolocation by DB-IP.
